So I just finished reading this:
And of course I have some comments.
First, why the hell did it take me so long to read this book? Clearly I should have read this book a long time ago! This book covered several things that I've struggled with: asking guys out, the disappearing boyfriend, the guy that just "hangs out" with you, and the guy who's unavailable.
I really liked the style of writing, the letters and responses, and the fact that there is both male and female perspective. Most of all, I liked that this book was filled with things that I "knew" but was too scared/stupid/naive to admit to myself - namely that I'm cute and fabulous and if a guy doesn't know that then he isn't worth my time. I'm clearly not alone in my desire to be with someone, because obviously there are many many many women who put up with all the crap that I put up with and more just to have someone in their lives, or the possibility of a relationship.
I probably should have read this a long time ago, but better late than never, right?
In other news, work is still going good, and this year I'll be doing campus recruiting. That's right, I can tell all the poor college kids about all the fabulous money I make and how much I love my job - what fun! Right now my schools are Ga Tech and FAMU - I wanted Minnesota too but they aren't important enough to my business unit. Oh well.
Finally going to get some furniture - I think I want a sectional for the living room.
